Vehicle ADS-B - • There are 1,565 vehicles equipped at 23 airports. • DCA and IAD vehicle transmit maps have been approved by both facilities and now move on for final approval. • PDX will be equipping vehicles before the end of the calendar year. November 11-17, 2019 Update HUMAN PERFORMANCE Aaron Katz (P50) is the Article 114 Rep for Human Performance. His report is below: NAS Training Study - All field visits have been completed. The report is being written and will be ready to brief leadership at the November SLM meeting. Safety Culture - The survey data was processed, and we conducted all the on-site interviews and workshops during the last week of September. Those notes are being rolled up and dissected to compile a report for the facilities. The report will include recommendations for moving the facilities forward from a safety culture standpoint. Our intention is to conduct a workshop for facility leadership instead of simply delivering a report. We hope to spend one to two days during the week of Jan. 6 going through the results, as well as helping them develop steps to move forward. CHI Team Training - The CHI team asked us if we could provide them some basic HF training. The training was ready to be delivered for the last week of October, but the CHI team could not coordinate their travel. The class has been tentatively pushed back until February 2020 with dates TBD. Training Effectiveness Survey - All dates have been coordinated with the exception of PCT. Data at S56 was collected as this report was written. Behavioral Markers - A90 interviews were completed the week of Oct. 7. All facility visits have been completed and NASA will now finish the process of transcribing the interviews. I will work with them to ensure the recordings are deleted. Once the data is processed, the hope is that we can develop training to bring to the field. Visual Scanning - All sites visits are now complete, and CAMI will begin to process the research. The next step should be taking their findings and seeing if we can develop some effective training from the results. HP Taxonomy - The workgroup met again on Nov. 5. The hope is that one last meeting will be needed to reconcile a final product by the end of the calendar year. New HP Areas - I briefed the NEB during the week of Nov. 4. and covered a number of topics that I would like the HP office to pursue. The intent was to open a dialogue so that anyone from the board who wants the HP office to pursue an idea can have a vehicle to do so. Ideas included: Mental health awareness, inter-facility relationships, speech rate and tone training, and a few others.
