It is our honor to recognize the exceptional recipients of the 22nd annual Archie League Medal of Safety Awards and the 10th annual Region X Commitment to Safety Award. These awards are among our Union's greatest honors, the highest distinction in our profession, recognizing NATCA members whose skill, judgment, and decisive actions protected the National Airspace System when it mattered most. They embody the professionalism, expertise, and unwavering commitment to safety that are hallmarks of the very best of our Union and our profession. Safety remains central to NATCA's mission. While we are proud to be a strong and effective labor union, we are equally proud to be an aviation safety organization. Every day, our Union's members maintain the highest standards of professionalism, support one another, and protect the flying public. This year's honorees exemplify that commitment. The stories in these pages demonstrate what happens when training, experience, and teamwork are tested in extraordinary circumstances. Whether responding to an aircraft emergency, recognizing a developing hazard, or finding a solution when options are rapidly disappearing, these members remained focused, composed, and ready to act. These stories remind us that when the unexpected happens, air traffic controllers are ready. The Archie League and Region X awards honor those exceptional moments and actions, but they also reflect something larger: the professionalism that all NATCA members bring to their work every day across the National Airspace System. On behalf of the National Executive Board, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to each of this year's award recipients, as well as to every member nominated by their Union brothers and sisters. Your accomplishments are a source of pride for our entire Union and serve as an inspiration to all who wear the NATCA badge.
