NATCA'S PRINCIPLES FOR FAA REAUTHORIZATION PROTECTING WORKFORCE BENEFITS Any proposal must: • Fully protect our members' relationship with their employer • Maintain our members' pay and benefits, including retirement and health care • Adopt all negotiated work rules and protections. MAINTAINING HIGH STANDARDS The legislation: • Can never allow equipment maintenance to lag or staffing to be reduced to save money • Must ensure the National Air Space remains fully staffed to meet our top priorities of safety and efficiency CREATING FUNDING CERTAINTY Guaranteed financing is needed to: • Promote growth • Continue to lead the world in aviation innovation • Support staffing, hiring, training, air traffic control, maintenance and infrastructure improvements CONTINUING SERVICE TO ENTIRE SYSTEM Any new system must: • Continue services to all segments of our aviation system • Include commercial passenger carriers, cargo haulers, business jets, general aviation, and service to airports large and small 1 2 3 4 $ $ $ 27
