 THE 13 th ANNUAL ARCHIE LEAGUE MEDAL OF SAFETY AWARDS The Dec. 31, 2016, deadline for the 13th Annual Archie League Medal of Safety Awards is only five months away! Remember — any member can nominate another member. All events since Jan. 1, 2016, are eligible for nomination. All winners will be honored on March 22, 2017 during Communicating For Safety at Bally's in Las Vegas. Nomination Form – Please click here New Flyer to Share, or Place In Your Facility on NATCA Board Archie League Awards Section on Website – Please go to natca.org/ archieleagueawards OUR NATCA INSIDER SERIES EXPLORING COLLABORATION For the last two issues of the NATCA Insider, we have explored collaboration and highlighted the great progress and successes that have come from it, particularly the recently signed and implemented ATC/TMC/NOTAM/FSS CBA. As part of an effort to highlight collaboration, NATCA and the FAA have teamed up to create a video series on this crucial subject. NATCA President Paul Rinaldi, NATCA Safety Committee Chairman Steve Hansen, FAA Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Chief Operating Officer Teri Bristol, ATO Vice President of Safety and Technical Training Terry Biggio, and ATO Vice President of Air Traffic Services Tim Arel all appear in the second installment of the series, "Making It Work." THE NATCA.ORG WEBSITE Logging in to the Members Side: To access the members side of the website, either click here directly and bookmark the URL on your phone or computer, or go to natca.org and select the "MEMBERS SIDE" menu item. On your phone: the menu is accessed on natca.org by touching the red button in the top left corner of the screen with the three white lines inside it. That will bring up a red-bordered box that you can then navigate with your finger. HOW TO LOG IN: Use your NATCA Portal username and password. Your membership number can be used as your username. The NATCA Portal is the interactive side of Unionware, our Union's membership database. Once you log in to the new members section using your NATCA Portal credentials, you can choose "Remember me" and your browser will save it for ensuing visits. All options for retrieving If you are a first-time Portal user, you can quickly and easily register for the NATCA Portal and create the credentials you'll need to access the new members section of natca.org. Click here - https://portal.natca.net/ForgotUsername.aspx KEY LOCATION FOR FACREPS AND OTHER LOCAL FACILITY REPS: Our section on the members side of the natca.org website for Union reps is designed to be one-stop shopping for your needs in representing your local. It's called "Member Center" and can be found on the main home page after you've signed in to the member side. There's also a menu item for it no matter where you're at on the site after signing in.
