EARLY JANUARY OUTLOOK
It's clear that the 115th Congress is already off to a busy start, and we expect the rest of
January to be just as busy. Up next could be a Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 budget resolution
that may pave the way for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. That could potentially
be considered on the House floor vote during the week of Jan . 9. NATCA GA staff will be
following this issue closely. As with any piece of legislation that is broad in scope, w e are
always scrupulous in reviewing any proposals that would impact NATCA membership.
