POC: Mike Odryna PHL ATCT Housekeeping Issues The Agency and NATCA are continuing to work towards a strategy to ensure the cleaning requirements set forth in the janitorial contract and TechOps requirements for equipment cleaning are adhered to. POC: CJ Jacques IWA Flooding There was a m ajor water leak at IWA tower with a sbestos issues that are c urrently being w orked through. Asbestos abatement and mold remediation projects are also currently being developed. POC: Karena Marinas New OSHA 6008 T raining The Agency sent out an email stating that the new OSHA6008 course is a direct replacement to the OSHA6000 re quir ement for OSHECCOM Members. The National OSHECCOM has not agreed to this, nor have we h ad an opportunity to review it. At this time, neither NATCA nor the National OSHECCOM agreed to this change. POC: Mike Odryna, Dominic Petrelli Regional OSHECCOMs The N ATCA Air Traffic Regional Reps and Region X reps attended their respective Regional OSHECCOM meetings throughout April and May in the Great Lakes, Southwest, Central, Northwest Mountain, New England , and Eastern Reg ions. Minutes from the Regional OSHECCOM meetings can be found here : OSHECCOM KSN Site NATCA Rep. OSHA Training Mike Odryna met with the agency to update NATCA Rep training re quirements and offerings. An updated lis t of training available for all NATCA OSH Reps will be available ASAP . Contractor, w ebsite , and t raining info will be coming out shortly. POC: Mike Odryna Region X Meeting in Dallas Dominic Petrelli and Mike Odryna attended the Region X meeting in Dallas on May 10th and 11th. We discussed current n ational OSH issu es. We also discussed a proposal to setup a list of PO Cs within the various Region X LOBs and s taff o ffices. POC: Mike Odryna, Dominic Petrelli
