PBN/Metroplex Design and Implementation Update by Ed Hulsey Metroplex: All ongoing Metroplex projects are currently working to meet project milestones with a funding termination (sunset) date of Sept. 30, 2021. Currently awaiting possible programmatic changes arising from the AJV reorganization. NATCAs expectation is that the OAPM MOU and current collaborative Co-Lead structure will remain unchanged. South-Central Florida Metroplex: The team is working on massive community engagement efforts in South/Central Florida as they enter the evaluation phase of the project. Detroit/Cleveland Metroplex: The project officially closed out on June 12, 2019, but had a post-implementation publication and implementation of SIDs and STARs on Aug. 15, and had the last Metroplex implementation on Oct. 10. Denver Metroplex: The team continues their community involvement/engagement activities and draft environmental assessment with a planned implementation date of March 26, 2020. The Denver team is also working with AJT and the PMO to integrate TBO initiatives including TBFM (with adjacent center metering) and other spacing tools. A meeting was scheduled for Oct. 10 with industry to discuss runway transition assignments from ZDV for STARs into D01. There are concerns around having the ERAM adaptation ready for the March implementation but working steadily towards a workable solution. Las Vegas Metroplex: The team is moving forward with work on community involvement activities. Contract training support is in place to support L30 with training plan
