The TDG VORMON project is still on track and scheduled to be published Jan. 30, 2020. Final Design packages have been sent to the affected facilities. The BOS Massport/MIT project is struggling to get the waivers required to minimize the changes to all the BOS Departure procedures. Only one runway (15R) needs a slight amendment, but in order to do that all the SIDs may require changes to meet current criteria. If this is true, then we will need to have a few more meetings and may require multiple airspace changes. The first work for NEC ACR is still on track for Jan. 30, 2020: the removal of multiple Jet Routes within ZJX, ZMA, and ZTL. There are two more Jet Route removal cycles in 2020: with July 16, 2020 and Nov. 5, 2020. Multiple procedure implementations are also occurring next year, with the biggest still being Nov. 5, 2020, when all the Q-Routes within ZDC, ZBW, and ZNY will go active. After the ZBW VORMON project began, most of the work was completed within three weeks. Coordination still needs to occur with ZNY and N90 since the airspace is so close to the Southern Corner of ZBW. This meeting is being scheduled for early January if that meets the needs of ZNY/N90 staffing. The ZDC and ZBW VORMON project are both on the same course right now, so we will be talking to work everything out. NATCA CSA PBN Co-Lead East Update by Joey Tinsley We are working with AJV-14 and facilities to move PBN/VORMON work forward. The items discussed below are our highest current priorities in Central and we hope to continue and add to this list. VORMON is equal in importance to all of these projects. Given the lead time required for the Federal Rulemaking and Environmental Review, T-Route and Q-Route work needs to be completed one year prior to the decommission date of the navaid. If facilities see navaids on the waterfall without mitigations in place, please reach out to ensure we know about it and we will help get work scheduled: • Fort Worth Center - JEN VORMON work that creates new RNAV Jet and Prop STARs for KDFW to mitigate the decommission of JEN VOR has been completed and is awaiting environmental review. • Minneapolis Center, M98 TRACON, MSP ATCT - VORMON workgroup meeting was held September 24-26, 2019. RNAV replacement SIDs were designed to mitigate for the loss of MSP VOR in FY23. T-Routes required for all ZMP navaids losses will be developed at the next meeting (1st week in December) at ZMP. We are also planning to introduce a few MSP VOR removal concepts with M98/KMSP during our December visit. • Kansas City, Mo. - The VORMON workgroup met Sept. 17-19 and addressed the RBA VOR decommission and the loss of 75% of the KMCI conventional STARs to VORMON. KMCI will have four new RNAV STARs to mitigate. An additional briefing was held Oct. 7 to review meeting notes with MCI POCs. • Columbus, Ohio - Draft designs are ready for noise analysis. Columbus Regional Airport Authority has recently requested a review briefing before the FAA Noise Analysis. Once this briefing and the noise analysis have been completed, the results and project details will be reviewed by the working group and airport authority. We can then agree on what the most appropriate community engagement plan needs to include and set that plan in motion. The tentative chart date for CMH has been moved from May 2020 to September 2020 because of a reduction in publication slots available and time required for community engagement activities. CMH is discussing the new proposed charting schedule with local FAA management to determine whether the September 2020 cycle
