o Issue split out from OOC Trial Probe (56196). o Targeted T29 PKG (10/1), may need to be re-assessed. o Due to concerns over 56196 cost and schedule. o This change will aid in the evaluation and training of functionality related to deviating aircraft. o Extend the current Pseudo-Pilot intercept capability to provide the ability to edit all incoming simulated ADS-C position and event messages. o In order to simulate the situations where the flight plan entered into an aircraft's Flight Management System (FMS) does not match the profile that ATOP has stored, provide the capability to specify a FMS route which simulated ADS-C position reports will use to generate Next/Next+1 fixes. • 55225 ATOP Coordination Inhibit Function o Issue added to ZAN Top 25 (2) March 2019. o New functionality change request. o Inhibit function for coordination. ▪ Inhibit function to be removed except manually by the controller. ▪ Inhibit function to prevent external message transmission for automatic coordination. o Current inhibit (handoff) function is for inhibiting handoff and transfer of communications. • 58339 FP from Honolulu rejected due to stuck flight plan o Problem Description: ▪ FP was received from HNL and rejected (DR) by ATOP due to flight plan in ActiveNext from the previous day. ▪ After the aircraft exited the ATOP FIR, flight crew logged back on to ask for frequency. Controller inhibited handoff and assumed control in order to uplink frequency. After re-enabling handoff, flight moves to ActiveNext again, but CPDLC connection is not terminated automatically, preventing flight from being removed. ▪ The CPDLC End Of Service timer was not rescheduled after re- enabling handoff because the a/c had already entered downstream facility. ▪ Flight can remain ActiveNext for long periods of time without AT awareness. AUTOMATED TERMINAL PROXIMITY ALERT (ATPA) Mike Sanders (SCT) is the Article 114 Rep for ATPA. His report is below: There is continued conversation involving future enhancement to ATPA processing distance on ghost for Merging Display Aid (MDA) and RNAV Z approaches. I was at the Tech Center during the second week of December testing ATPA processing formation flights. This should be available in S6 R10 build and available by mid-2020. ATPA is voluntary on part of the individual controller at his/her display. Facilities are not permitted to make any portion of ATPA mandatory.
