Region X OSHA Representative David Kirkwood reports that he has been tasked with working on a Safety Emergency Notice about holiday decorations. He has also participated in ongoing workgroups and FAA Order Briefings described above. NEA OSHA Representative CJ Jacques reports that he continues to help with the ongoing air quality and cancer survey at N90. Additionally, he has followed up on an issue reported from Syracuse with a fly infestation. An Environmental Compliance Manager (ECM) was sent out to do a site survey, an exterminator has been called out and Tech Ops has agreed to do a more thorough cleaning to alleviate the issue. Finally, he continues to monitor and assist in the ongoing Manassas issues with fire life safety and water intrusion. NGL OSHA Representative Sara Stockinger reports that Indianapolis ATCT recently reached out about a water leak and subsequent mold growth. The FacRep was concerned that the response may not have been appropriate. Ms. Marinas had Geoff Bacci get involved in reviewing photos from the facility and the description of work done for remediation and was able to assert that the work had been done correctly and should have solved the issue. NSW OSHA Representative Deb Stewart continues to help with issues in NSW, including asbestos-related questions at ELP and ACT, which she is working with Geoff Bacci. Additionally, she has been assisting FSM, along with Mr. Bacci, on IAQ requests. RUNWAY SAFETY Bridget Singratanakul (Gee) (DFW) is NATCA's Runway Safety Action Team (RSAT) Rep. She also serves as the Article 114 Rep to the Runway Status Lights (RWSL) Program. Her report is below: Runway Status Lights (RWSL): ORD is being conducted in three phases: • Phase 1, Runway 10L/28R, was turned online April 27, 2016. • Phase 2 (10C Enhancement) IOC (Initial Operating Capability) was completed on May 3, 2018. A pre-joint acceptance inspection (JAI) meeting was held the week of June 11, 2018. JAI was achieved July 13, 2018. • Phase 3 (9R Enhancement) - The testing of the required software update was not completed in December 2019. The projected timeframe to turn on is Spring 2020. BOS: Completed. DFW: Completed. CLT: Currently, we are working in the RWSL PMO with Air Traffic and CLT Airport on a preliminary plan for RWSL lighting on 18L.
