AWARDS: NOMINATION DEADLINE COUNTDOWN HAS BEGUN ARCHIE LEAGUE MEDAL OF SAFETY AWARDS PROGRAM : We are looking forward to hosting our selection meeting in January. The deadline is Dec. 31 to nominate your fellow brothers and sisters for an Archi e League Medal of Safety Award. All events since Jan. 1, 2015 , are eligible. The 12 th annual program will honor the best flight assists of calendar year 2015 from each region. To nominate, use the new online form. Winners will be honored at Bally's in Las Vegas on March 23, 2016 , to close NATCA's annual Communicating for Safety conference in grand style. The form allows you to type in information and also attach the video and audio files that we need to complete the nomination. Please act as soon as you can to nominate after an even t so that the audio and video files can be obtained before they are no longer available. You can also email nominations or send them by traditional mail to the National Office. NATCA NATIONAL PROFESSIONALISM AWARD : The NATCA Professional Standards Committee has introduced the "NATCA National Professionalism Award," to be presented at NATCA's annual Communicating for Safety (CFS) conference next M arch and the deadline of Dec. 31 is approaching fast! From NATCA Pro fessional Stan dards Co - Lead Garth Koleszar: " The goal of our Professional Standards program is to maintain and promote professionalism across all of NATCA's bargaining units. We achieve t hat through a commitment to safety and through upholding the public's trust. We work to inspire, to motivate, to provide personal examples of our professionalism to others, and to maintain the highest standard of excellence. We know our actions represent a ll our fellow professionals, and we work to bring honor and respect to all that we do. The NATCA National Professional Standards Committee (PSC) has created a "NATCA National Professionalism Award" as a means to recognize the actions of those who continual ly strive to achieve these goals."
