NATCA Impact : The lack of a stable and predictable funding stream leaves the FAA in financial limbo, and prevents government agencies from starting new projects or adjusting priorities. NATCA GA staff continues to meet with members of Congress and their staff to remind them of the importance of a stable, predictable funding stream, and the consequences of a government shutdown. NATCA GA staff has also been meeting with House and Senate appropriations committee staff as they work towards the next the next funding bill. LEGISLAT IVE WATCHLIST In addition to executive actions from President Trump, Congress is already working on anti - federal employee bills. With Republicans officially in control of the House, Senate, and White House, the number of proposals that would negatively imp act federal employees will rise. GA staff has been and will continue prepa ring to fight these proposals.
