NATCA ACTIVATES DISASTER RELIEF FUND TO ASSIST MEMBERS
AFFECTED BY STORM
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As the remnants of Hurricane Harvey continue to ravage Houston and the Gulf Coast,
N ATCA has activated its disaster relief fund to assist members affected by this historic
and devastating flooding. The facilities of the Southwest Region are already rallying to
offer support and assistance, as is the NATCA family as a whole.
We have set u p a GoFundMe page where you can make a donation. Please click here .
While the extent of the damage is unclear at this point, the need for aid will be
significant. NATCA is preparing to assist our brothers and sisters who are in the disaster
zone. There are 500 members from FAA and FCTs who live and work in the greater
Houston area alone, with many more located in other hard hit areas.
NATCA established a disaster relief fund in 1992 in the wake of Hurricane Andrew. It
provides assistance to our members who have experienced catastrophic losses of
property and helps provide a lifeline during those most desperate times.
Due to the generosity of our membership, our fund has continued to grow after that
horrific storm, and has allowed NATCA members to help those affected after Hurricanes
Katrina and Rita (2005), Ike (2008), Sandy (2012), and Matthew (2016), and last year's
flooding in Baton Rouge, La.
As we await word from ou r members as to the extent of their losses, we want to ensure
that there are sufficient funds available to purchase food, gasoline, or any other supplies
that might be required. Any donations made through this GoFundMe will go directly to
the NATCA disaste r relief fund for this effort. We have volunteers ready to purchase and
deliver supplies as soon as we know the need.
Please consider a donation to assist our brothers and sisters who have been ravaged by
this terrible storm. Our GoFundMe page will accept your donations .
You can also send a check to: NATCA National Office; ATTN: Disaster Relief Fund,

To our members i n the affected areas: Please continue to take all precautions to ensure
the safety of yourself and your families. We are with you in solidarity and are here to
help in any way we can.
In solidarity,
Th e NATCA National Executive Board
