I attended the NextGen Advisory Council (NAC) meeting last week in Chicago. This meeting was bittersweet for me , in that it was the final meeting for FAA Administrator Michael Huerta and Jim Eck, our Assistant Administrator for NextGen. The NAC provides steady leadership and guidance on NextGen. And while the faces at the table may change over time, progress will continue unabated on reaching our shared goals. For the ATO, this means we will continue to develop, implement and deploy NextGen advancements across the NAS in support of our newest shared NAC priority: addressing delays and increasing efficiency in the Northeast Corridor (NEC). Since the last NAC meeting in June, we've been working with NAC Subcommittee members to identify and target tangible improvements that we can com mit to address over the next 18 months. It's important to note that these are shared commitments from the FAA, airline industry, and airports to address key issues that impact the efficiency of the NEC operational
