U pon written request, BUEs who do not achieve RPO certification shall be advised of the reasons in writing. When applicable, the specific areas the BUE needs to improve in order to obtain certification shall be identified. BUE(s) may request a review or re fresher training if they have not performed the RPO duties in the previous sixty (60) days or as locally agreed upon. FAA BRIEFING ON FAA ORDER 7400.2L, PROCEDURES FOR HANDLING AIRSPACE MATTERS – CHANGE 2 NATCA became aware of changes made to FAA Order 7 400.2L and requested a briefing, which the Agency provided on April 27, 2018. The Agency intends to make changes to Chapter 2, including a flow chart capturing the relationship between AJV - 113 and AJV - 114, and a detailed process for processing special use airspace (SUA) actions. The briefing covered the aeronautical and environmental processes in Appendix 4. NATCA has requested an editorial change regarding Appendix 4, item 3: that ARTCC be replaced with "ATC Facilities" because not all SUA is within the ARTCC jurisdiction. FAA BRIEFING ON FAA LOCAL ORDER 4665.1F NATCA became aware of changes being made to FAA Order AL 466.1F and requested a briefing, which the Agency pr ovided on April 6, 2018. The Regional Administrator for the Alaskan Region is proposing to make changes to FAA Local Orde r 4665.1F, dated June 17, 2011. The changes were apparently intended to clarify some definitions, including visitor, handicapped, and e mployee parking, and to update current carpooling policies. However, in making these clarifications, the Alaska Region has created a situation in which contract employees who have been parking and carpooling with FAA employees will no longer be permitte d to park in FAA parking. The Alaska Regional Office is following up with NATCA on several items. Formal proposals may be necessary. FAA BRIEFING ON AJR - X CONTINGENCY OPERATIONS NATCA became aware of changes being made within AJR and requested a briefing, which the Agency provided on April 27, 2018. The FAA Air Traffic Operations Contingency Group (ATOC) is being moved under a newly created directo rate, AJR - X. Under the direction of Jim Linney, ATOC will now be called Contingency Operations. NATCA has requested an updated organizational chart and notice if any Job Analysis Tools change as a result of AJR - X. No proposals are needed at this time.
