LABOR RELATIONS DEPARTMENT DAC MEETING On April 20, 2016, NATCA's representatives to the Drug and Alcohol Committee (DAC) met with their FAA and DOT counterparts to discuss a number of broad ranging issues related to employee drug and alcohol testing. One of the issues discussed was the Agency's obligation to maintain an accurate and up - to - date Testing Designated Position (TDP) test list. The TDP test list identifies those employees who are eligible for drug and alcohol testing. The Agency has experienced difficulties o ver the years properly maintaining the list and, as a result, employees who were not designated as TDP have been mistakenly tested. Through the DAC, NATCA is working closely with the Agency to ensure more stringent protocols are established to maintain the accuracy of the TDP test list. The next quarterly DAC meeting is scheduled for July 20, 2016. If you have any questions, concerns, or issues regarding substance testing at your facility, please contact the NATCA representatives on the DAC by emailing dac@list.natca.net . NATCA POCs: Southwest RVP Andrew LeBovidge, Central RVP Kevin Peterson, Phil Barbarello, Director of Labor Relations Ryan Smith, and Labor Relations Representati ve Melinda Kim.
